Meet the Team
The people behind Dro’s Cat House

Leo (Litian)
Chief Cat Dad & Treat Dispenser
Software engineer and lifelong cat lover. Leo handles the day-to-day boarding operations, health monitoring, and medication administration. He spends 8+ hours daily working from the boarding room, keeping every guest cat company.

Joy (Junyi)
Chief Cat Mom & Cuddle Coordinator
Software engineer with a passion for cats. Joy manages client communications, scheduling, and the detailed questionnaires that help us tailor care for every cat. She ensures every guest feels at home from day one.

Drodro
British Shorthair · 3yr · Chief Greeting Officer
The namesake of Dro’s Cat House. Friendly, calm, and always the first to welcome new guests. Drodro sets the tone for every boarding stay.
Favorite treat: Japanese aigamo (合鴨). Also loves Costco rotisserie chicken and cheesecake. Has been caught stealing dumplings and chicken wings from the dining table on multiple occasions — and she always shares the loot with Denden.

Denden
British Shorthair · 2yr · Head of Playtime
Energetic and playful, Denden keeps every guest entertained. She’s the social butterfly who helps shy cats come out of their shells.
Favorite treat: dry kibbles (simple tastes!). Denden is allergic to quail, turkey, and pork, so she’s on a strict chicken-and-duck only diet. Luckily, big sister Drodro always shares her stolen table food with her.
House Surprise Guests
Visiting family & friends · All pet lovers
From time to time, Leo and Joy’s families and friends visit from New York, Chicago, SF Bay Area, and Beijing. They’re all pet lovers who enjoy spending time with our guest cats — extra cuddles and playtime included!
Our Story
January 2024
Started in Bellevue, WA
Dro’s Cat House began as a passion project in our Bellevue apartment. As two remote software engineers and cat parents, we saw an opportunity to offer the kind of attentive, personalized care we’d want for our own cats. We started with a few bookings on Rover and quickly built a loyal client base.
December 2024
Joy Joined the Team
Joy came on board as co-founder, bringing her skills in client communication, scheduling, and detail-oriented care planning. Together, we expanded our capacity and elevated the quality of service for every guest cat.
May 2025
Moved to Bothell, WA
With growing demand and a need for more space, we moved to a larger home in Bothell. This gave us 2 dedicated boarding rooms (~135 sq ft each) with window views, more common space for cats to explore, and a better environment for both our guests and our own British Shorthairs, Drodro and Denden.
Today
101+ Reviews & Growing
With 5.0 stars across 101+ reviews, 27 repeat clients, and a Star Sitter badge on Rover, we continue to grow through word of mouth and the trust of our cat parent community. We’re now building a client portal to make booking and communication even easier.
